She is a Certified Birth Doula, Postpartum Doula, Certified Lactation Counselor, and a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator. Angel has specialty services for mothers with premature babies, mothers who desire vaginal birth after Cesarean, and mothers wanting to breastfeed.
Her passion for perinatal health began as a Breastfeeding Peer Counselor working for Cuyahoga County WIC in 2017. Since then she has enjoyed expanding her knowledge in perinatal health. She extends her services as a doula and educator to Cornerstone Pregnancy Services in Lorain to help lower-income mothers receive doula services and education and to also lower maternal and infant mortality in Lorain County. In 2020 she began working for University Hospital as a Childbirth Educator.
Angel is a mother to five children, two of which have been NICU graduates, and two have been VBA2C. She is an advocate for birthrights and is proud to serve the Northeast Ohio region. When she's not being a birth nerd, she's collecting tea and nerding out on science fiction films and super-hero movies.
